Commission Process

I ask to see a range of your photographs first but will work from one main one and use others for detail. You can choose from photos you already have or take new ones but for best results I ask that they are clear and of high quality so I am able to capture your pets/family with precision and accuracy.

I can also join multiple photographs together to create one portrait, this is especially popular with people who have sadly lost loved ones but never got to have a photo together.

You can choose to have a full coloured acrylic painting or a black and white graphite pencil drawing. For paintings you can choose whether you would like it on a canvas or canvas paper which you can then frame.

Once you have chosen your photo, size, media, what surface you want it on and confirmed any details with me about the painting or drawing and you are happy for me to start I will then ask for a non refundable deposit of around 40% of the total cost.

Once I've received the deposit I will start the process and will keep you updated with the progress of the portrait, taking regular pictures for you to see it develop and to make sure you are still happy with it or any changes you would like for me to make.

When the portrait is finished and you are completely satisfied and happy with it I will ask for the remainder of the cost before it is packaged and posted to you.
